Students Exempted from Taking Mother Tongue Language at PSLE

Mr Yee Jenn Jong asked the Minister for Education over the past five years, what is the average number of students exempted from taking mother tongue language at the Primary School Leaving Examination in the five schools with the highest number of such exemptions.

Mr Heng Swee Keat: Over the past five years, the average number of students given MTL exemption in the five schools with the highest number of exemption cases is 178.
