REGISTRATION FOR OVERSEAS VOTERS
3.
Ms Sylvia Lim asked the Prime Minister at the next General Election, whether Singaporeans who are overseas voters may elect to register to cast their vote at any of the nine Singapore missions designated as overseas registration and polling stations, even if they are based in other countries.
Mr Lee Hsien Loong: An overseas Singaporean can decide which overseas polling station he wants to cast his vote when registering as an overseas elector. He can also change his selected overseas polling station subsequently, so long as it is done before the issue of the Writ of election. Such changes can be made easily online via the Elections Department website.
