Mr Lim Biow Chuan asked the Minister for Law if he will provide details on the plans for development of the former Singapore Badminton Hall at Guillemard Road.
Mr Shanmugam: The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) has rented out the former Singapore Badminton Hall to M/s Guillemard Village Pte Ltd on a 3+3+3 year tenancy commencing August 2008. The site is approved for use as Office, Food and Beverage, and Sports and Recreation. We understand that the tenant will be carrying out renovation works to the building and will commence operations when the renovation is completed.
