Mr Low Thia Khiang asked the Minister for Information and the Arts how many Singaporeans visited the National Museum in 1993.

BG George Yong-Boon Yeo: In 1993, 243,200 people visited the National Museum. This included 40,100 students on guided school visits. National Museum does not record the nationality of individual visitors. However, from samples, we know that about a third are foreigners and two-thirds are Singaporeans.
