Ms Hany Soh asked the Minister for Health (a) for the past three years, how many mothers have been diagnosed to be suffering from post-natal depression; and (b) how many of these mothers are first-time parents.

Mr Ong Ye Kung: From 2018 to 2020, based on the data available, an average of about 290 women per year sought care for post-natal depression at the public hospitals. About one out of three of these women were first-time mothers.
