Mr Louis Ng Kok Kwang asked the Minister for National Development (a) since the Wildlife Act came into force, how many warning letters and compound fines have been issued for the feeding of wildlife respectively; (b) how many NParks staff are solely focused on enforcing the law against the feeding of wildlife under the Wildlife Act; and (c) how many NParks staff focus on enforcing the law against the feeding of wildlife under the Wildlife Act as one part of their entire job scope.

Mr Desmond Lee: Since the Wildlife Act came into force in June 2020, NParks has issued 38 warning letters and one composition notice for the feeding of wildlife. NParks officers from various divisions work together to operationalise the various Acts under NParks' administration.
