Committee of Selection

The Leader of the House (Dr Ng Eng Hen): Mr Speaker, Sir, I beg to move,

That this Parliament, in accordance with paragraph (1) of Standing Order No 100, appoints the following as members of the Committee of Selection:

Mr Chen Show Mao

Mr Gan Kim Yong

Mr Hri Kumar Nair

Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman

Mrs Josephine Teo

Mr Lawrence Wong

Sir, the appointment of this Committee will enable the Committee to begin its work of nominating Members to the six Standing Select Committees to the House and the Special Select Committee on Nominations for Appointments as Nominated Members of Parliament.
