VACANCIES IN ESTIMATES COMMITTEE:

(Announcement by Mr Speaker):

Mr Speaker: Order. I wish to inform hon. Members that on 23rd July 2008, pursuant to Standing Order No. 100 (3), I have appointed Dr Ahmad Mohd Magad to be the Chairman of the Estimates Committee following the vacancy of the chair left by the late Dr Ong Chit Chung.

Under the provisions of Standing Order No. 102, I have also on 23rd July 2008 nominated Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim to the Estimates Committee to fill a vacancy arising therein.
