The Second Minister for Finance (Ms Indranee Rajah): Mr Speaker, I move, "That the Bill be now read a Second time."

The purpose of this Bill is to make additional provision in accordance with Articles 148(2) of the Constitution for expenditure in excess of the sums authorised by the Supply Act 2024. The additional sums have been approved by the House in the Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for the Financial Year, 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025, as contained in Paper Cmd No 33 of 2025. Mr Speaker, I beg to move.
