Singapore's Position on Joining WAICO, Implications of Pax Silica Signatory Status and ASEAN Consensus on AI Governance Initiatives

Mr Chua Kheng Wee Louis asked the Minister for Digital Development and Information (a) whether Singapore has received an invitation to join the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organisation (WAICO); (b) whether the Government intends to join WAICO; (c) whether Singapore's position as a signatory of the Pax Silica initiative precludes Singapore from joining WAICO; and (d) whether there is an ASEAN consensus on joining WAICO or the Pax Silica initiative.
