Mr Chua Kheng Wee Louis asked the Minister for National Development (a) whether HDB can consider designating a small number of surface season parking lots within housing estates for oversized commercial passenger vehicles that cannot access multi-storey, sheltered or basement car parks due to height restrictions; and (b) whether HDB can consider raising the height limit for entry into covered car parks.
Mr Chee Hong Tat: The Member may wish to refer to the written reply given by the Ministry of National Development to a related question posed by Assoc Prof Jamus Jerome Lim on 8 January 2025.
