Ms Lee Hui Ying asked the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth since the inclusion of "advertising any bookings or inciting others to on-sell over social platforms" as a violation of ActiveSG's Terms of Use (a) how many reports of alleged ActiveSG bookings through social media platforms have been received since 15 July 2026; (b) how many resulted in suspension; and (c) what are the appeal channels available.

Mr David Neo: ActiveSG's Terms of Use prohibit the on-selling of court bookings and related activities that undermine fair access to ActiveSG facilities. In line with this, ActiveSG updated its Terms of Use on 15 July 2026 to make clear that advertising of any bookings or inciting others to on-sell over social media platforms would also constitute a contravention.

Since then, we have received more than 230 cases of alleged on-selling. We investigate every case, and this has resulted in more than 50 accounts being suspended to date. Members are given an opportunity to provide explanations before any enforcement action is taken, and thereafter to submit appeals to Sport Singapore should there be additional mitigating evidence.
