RESIGNATION OF A MEMBER

Mr Speaker: I have to announce to honourable Members that on the 10th day of December, 1958, I received a a letter from Mr J. M. Mason, resigning his seat as a Nominated Member in this Assembly as from today.

In accordance with the provisions of section 50 of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, I reported the vacancy thus created to His Excellency the Governor.
