The following Member has, under the provisions of subsection (3) (i) of section 47 of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, obtained from the Speaker, permission to be or to remain absent from meetings of the Assembly:

Mr Seah Peng Chuan (Kampong Kapor) - from 20th to 31st January, 1959.
