MESSAGE FROM THE YANG DI-PERTUAN NEGARA (Assents to Bills passed)

Mr Speaker: I have received a message from His Excellency the Yang di-Pertuan Negara dated the 8th September, 1959, informing me that His Excellency, in accordance with the provisions of section 55 (1) of the Singapore (Constitution) Order in Council, 1958, had that day assented to the following Bills:-

(iii) Registration of Criminals (Amendment) Bill;

(vii) Moneylenders Bill;

(viii) Enemy Property Bill;

(ix) Protected Places and Areas (Amendment) Bill;

(x) Massage Establishments Bill;

(xi) State Advocate-General (Transfer of Powers) Bill;

(xii) Maintenance (Facilities for Enforcement) Bill.
