Seventh Supplementary Estimates 1959

The Chairman: We are on the Seventh Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for 1959 [Paper Cmd. (New Series) 34 of 19591.

No notices of amendments have been received. There is only one Head of Expenditure, which appears on page 4*.

• Head 63 Advance Accounts $42,522,019

Question, "That the sum of $42,522,019 for Head 63* stand part of the Seventh Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for 1959", put, and agreed to.

Question, "That the sum of $42,522,019 shall be supplied to the Government under the head of expenditure for the public services shown in the Seventh Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for 1959 contained in Paper Cmd. (New Series) 34 of 1959", put, and agreed to.

Eighth Supplementary Estimates, 1959

The Chairman: Eighth Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for 1959 [Paper Cmd. (New Series) 35 of 1959].

Here again no notices of amendments have been received. I therefore propose to take the heads of expenditure en bloc. The summary is on page 4+

Question, "That the sum of $6,307,954 shall be supplied to the Government under the heads of expenditure for the public services shown in the Eighth Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for 1959 contained in Paper Cmd. (New Series) 35 of 1959", put, and agreed to.
