The Deputy Prime Minister (Dr Toh Chin Chye): Mr Speaker, I beg to move,

That, notwithstanding the Standing Orders, the second and third readings of both the Supplementary Appropriation Bill and the Appropriation Bill be taken today.

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister (Mr Goh Chew Chua): I second it.
