GOVERNMENT CHINESE SECONDARY IV EXAMINATION (Statement by the Minister for Education)

Mr Yong Nyuk Lin: Mr Speaker, Sir, as the House is fully aware of the fact that the first Government Secondary IV Examination in the Chinese medium is now in progress, despite an attempted boycott of the Examination I should like to indicate that I shall be making a fuller statement later today at 5.30 p.m. since reports are still coming in.

Mr Speaker: I take it that that would meet with the assent of all Members that this statement be made at 5.30 p.m.? No dissenting voice.
