The Minister for Law and National Development (Mr E. W. Barker): Mr Speaker, Sir, may I seek the general assent of hon. Members to move a motion for Parliament to adjourn at five o'clock today?
Mr Speaker: Do I have the assent of Members for the motion to be moved as proposed?
Hon. Members indicated assent.
Resolved, "That notwithstanding the Standing Orders, this Parliament doth adjourn tonight at five o'clock." [Mr Barker].
