Under the provisions of clause 2 (d) sitting of Parliament today, the 5th of Article 30 of the Constitution of Singapore August, I have granted permission to Mr Lee Kuan Yew (Tanjong Pagar), Speaker, Prime Minister, to be absent from the sitting of Parliament today, the 5th August,1971.
