BUS SHELTERS AT BENDEMEER AND SERANGOON ROADS

Encik Abdul Aziz Karim asked the Minister for Law and Home Affairs, and National Development (a) when the bus shelters (i) in front of Block 14, Bendemeer Road; and (ii) at Serangoon Road in front of Block 34 in the Kallang Basin Housing Estate, will be constructed; and (b) if he will also consider the construction of bus shelters in front of Block 30 and Block 44, Bendemeer Road.

The Minister for Law and Home Affairs, and National Development (Mr E. W. Barker): Mr Speaker, Sir, I am happy to inform the Member that work on the construction of the four bus shelters in front of the four blocks, referred to by the Member in his question, started recently and all of them are expected to be completed by the middle of November this year.
