Mr Ang Nam Piau asked the Minister for Law and National Development what is the overall development plan in the Kampong San Teng area and when the development will take place.

The Minister for Law and National Development (Mr E. W. Barker): Mr Speaker, Sir, in the long term, the Kampong San Teng area may be developed for housing and industrial estates, but at the moment there is no planned development programme.
