Mr Ng Yeow Chong asked the Minister for Health and Home Affairs if he will request the Traffic Police to delete the white line along the stretch of the Old Airport Road between its junctions with Jalan Lima and Jalan Tiga so as to allow the parking of cars in front of the Kallang Estate Market.

The Minister for Health and Home Affairs (Mr Chua Sian Chin): Mr Speaker, Sir, I am pleased to inform the Member for Mountbatten that the continuous white line along Old Airport Road between its junctions with Jalan Lima and Jalan Tiga was replaced by a broken white line on 31st October, 1974. Motorists may now park their vehicles along Old Airport Road next to the Kallang Estate Market.
