Mr E. W. Barker: Mr Speaker, Sir. Members will recall that the Residential Property Bill was committed to a Select Committee sometime last year. The Committee has completed its hearings and submitted its Report to this House in May of this year. The Report has been circulated as Paper Parl. 2 of 1976. The Committee's Report as well as subsequent representations on the Bill have been reviewed by Government.
The Bill incorporating the recommendations made by the Select Committee, together with a few other amendments considered desirable in the light of the review, will be taken through its Third Reading at the next sitting of Parliament, which will probably be in a month's time.
