The Leader of the House (Mr E. W. Barker): Mr Speaker, Sir, I beg to move,
That this Parliament, in accordance with paragraph (1) of Standing Order 95, appoints the following as members of the Committee of Selection:- Ivan Baptist E. W. Barker Chua Sian Chin Lee Khoon Choy Ahmad Mattar Phua Bah Lee Sia Kah Hui.
Sir, I think we should appoint this Committee early so that members of the Selection Committee can appoint members of the other Committees of this House.

Resolved,
