Mr Ng Kah Ting asked the Minister for National Development and Communications when Singapore Bus Service buses will make use of Tampines Way for the convenience of the residents of Punggol Estate.

Mr Lim Kim San: SBS will introduce a new double decker bus Service No. 86 to operate between Punggol Estate and Shenton Way, some time in June 1977. Seven double decker buses will operate this Service which will terminate at Tampines Way.
