Under the provisions of clause 2(d) of Article 30 of the Constitution of Singapore, the following Member has been granted permission to be or to remain absent from sittings of Parliament for the period stated:-

Mr Goh Chok Tong (Marine Parade), Minister for Trade and Industry - from 19th to 22nd March, 1979.
