ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO THE CHAIR

The Leader of the House (Mr E.W. Barker): Mr Speaker, Sir, we have come to the end of a long and interesting debate highlighted by the presence in this House, after so many years, of an Opposition Member of Parliament. At times some of us have irritated you but, all in all, I can safely say that you have been extremely patient with us and I am sure Members of the House will join me in paying a tribute to you. Thank you, Sir. [Applause].
