The total capacity of these seven mosques is 16,500.

(iii) Number of Mosques to be built in the next two or three years and their locations

Eight more mosques will be built in the next two or three years. Sites for six of these eight mosques have been accepted by MUIS. They will be located at Jalan Eunos/changi Road; Yishun Avenue 7, Yishun Ring Road; Jurong East Central/Jurong East Street 21; Bukit Batok East Avenue 5/Bukit Batok East Avenue 2; Telok Blangah Way, Telok Blangah Rise and Tampines Avenue 3.

Sites for mosques to be built in Bedok New Town and Clementi New Town have not been selected yet.
