Encik Wan Hussin bin Hj Zoohri asked the Minister for National Development what are the development plans for the vacant lot adjacent to Darul Aman Mosque bounded by Sims Avenue and Jalan Eunos.
The Senior Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for National Development (Mr Lee Yiok Seng) (for the Minister for National Development): Mr Speaker, Sir, I am replying on behalf of my Minister.
The site bounded by Sims Avenue and Jalan Eunos is adjacent to the Eunos MRT Station and is reserved for future development.
Encik Wan Hussin bin Haji Zoohri (Kampong Ubi): Sir, would the Senior Parliamentary Secretary elaborate what this future development is?
Mr Lee Yiok Seng: Sir, since the site is near the MRT station, it is mainly for commercial development.
