The Leader of the House (Mr Wong Kan Seng): Mr Deputy Speaker, Sir, since we have 23 Questions and many of which were brought forward from the previous sitting and there are only four Bills for Second Reading, may I seek your consent as well as the general assent of the Members present to move that Questions for Oral Answer be taken beyond 12.00 noon today.
Mr Deputy Speaker: I give my consent. Is it the pleasure of hon. Members that the motion be moved?
Hon. Members indicated assent.
Question put, and agreed to.
Resolved,
"That, notwithstanding the Standing Orders, Questions for Oral Answer set down in the Order Paper be taken after 12.00 noon at this day's sitting." - [Mr Wong Kan Seng].
