Mr Eric Cheong Yuen Chee asked the Minister for Communications and Information whether he will request the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit Limited to consider (i) extending the MRT services beyond 11.30 pm on weekends, eve of public holidays and during festive seasons, and (ii) extending the validity period of stored value tickets.

Dr Yeo Ning Hong: Sir, I thank the Member for Toa Payoh for his suggestions. As requested by the Member, I have directed the two suggestions to the SMRT for consideration.
