Mr Teo Chong Tee asked the Minister for Communications and Information whether taxi stands will be provided at or near Mass Rapid Transit stations.

The Senior Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Communications and Information (Mr Ho Kah Leong) (for the Minister for Communications and Information): Mr Deputy Speaker, Sir, on behalf of my Minister.

Sir, the answer is yes. Taxi stands have been provided for all the 14 MRT stations which are now in operation. For the other MRT stations, taxi stands will also be provided at or near the stations.
