The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Community Development (Mr Wong Kan Seng): Mr Speaker, Sir, I shall be very brief. I beg to move,
'That this Parliament, in accordance with paragraph (1) of Standing Order 95, appoints the following as members of the Committee of Selection:- 1. Mr S. Chandra Das 2. Dr Lee Boon Yang 3. Mr Lee Yiok Seng 4. Encik Sidek bin Saniff 5. Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam 6. Mr Wong Kan Seng 7. BG George Yong-Boon Yeo.
Sir, we need to appoint this Committee in order that the other Sessional Committees of Parliament can be appointed.

Resolved,
