The Leader of the House (Mr Wong Kan Seng): Mr Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is normal practice for the House to appoint a Committee of Selection at the beginning of every session, so that the Committee can appoint other Sessional Committees of the House.

Sir, I beg to move,

"That this Parliament, in accordance with paragraph (1) of Standing Order 95, appoints the following as Members of the Committee of Selection:-

Mr S. Dhanabalan

Dr Lee Boon Yang

Mr Mah Bow Tan

Encik Sidek Bin Saniff

Mr Peter Sung

Mr Wong Kan Seng

Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon."

Resolved,

That this Parliament, in accordance with paragraph (1) of Standing Order 95, appoints the following as Members of the Committee of Selection:-
