Dr S. Vasoo: To ask the Minister for National Development whether the Housing and Development Board will sell all the 3-room rental flats in Telok Blangah Rise Estate as soon as possible.

The Minister of State for National Development (Mr Lim Hng Kiang) (for the Minister for National Development): I am answering on behalf of the Minister for National Development.

My Ministry is currently looking into the feasibility of a scheme to sell rental flats to sitting tenants. If the proposed sale of rental flats scheme is found to be feasible, we will consider including the two blocks of 3-room rental flats in Telok Blangah Rise in the scheme.
