COMMITTEE OF SUPPLY (ESTIMATES OF EXPENDITURE)

Mr Speaker: Order. Pursuant to paragraph (7) of Standing Order 89, I have fixed the times for the conclusion of consideration of the heads of expenditure in the Estimates of Expenditure for FY 2002/2003 in the Committee of Supply. In fixing these times, I have taken into account the motion which the Leader of the House proposes to move that Saturday, 18th May 2002, be a sitting day, and that the sitting times of the Committee of Supply be extended by two-and-a-half hours for each day of the allotted days, which are subject to the approval of the House. Upon approval of the House as to Saturday, 18th May 2002, be a sitting day, the sitting will commence at 1.30 pm.

The "guillotine" times I have fixed have been notified to hon. Members and will appear in the Official Report (Cols. 1085-8). Committee of Supply - Estimates of Expenditure for the Financial Year 1st April 2002 to 31st March 2003 (Cols. 1085-1088)
