COMMITTEE OF SUPPLY (Estimates of Expenditure) (Announcement by Mr Speaker)

Mr Speaker: Order. Pursuant to paragraph (7) of Standing Order 89, I have fixed the times for the conclusion of consideration of the heads of expenditure in the Estimates of Expenditure for FY 2003/2004 in the Committee of Supply.

In fixing these times, I have taken into account the motion which the Leader of the House proposes to move that Saturday, 15th March 2003, be a sitting day, and that the sitting times of the Committee of Supply be extended by three and a half hours for each of the allotted days, which are subject to the approval of the House.

Upon the approval of the House as to Saturday, 15th March 2003, being a sitting day, the sitting will commence at 11.00 am.

The "guillotine" times I have fixed have been notified to hon. Members and will appear in the Official Report (Cols. 547-52). Committee of Supply - Estimates of Expenditure for the Financial Year 1st April 2003 to 31st March 2004(Cols. 547-552)
