ORAL ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS:

DENGUE CONTROL MEASURES:

1\. Dr Amy Khor Lean Suan asked the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources (a) if he can provide (i) an update on the number of reported dengue cases over the last six weeks; and (ii) the number of fatalities due to dengue fever for this year; (b) what new measures the Ministry is planning to implement to combat dengue fever; and (c) how the Ministry co-ordinates with other Ministries and relevant agencies like the Ministry of Health, Land Transport Authority and National Parks Board to ensure an efficient, speedy and effective response to public feedback on potential breeding grounds.
