ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR POLLING AND COUNTING AGENTS FOR GENERAL ELECTIONS

Ms Sylvia Lim asked the Prime Minister whether polling agents and counting agents for the General Elections are subject to age or other eligibility criteria besides the disqualifications mentioned in section 83 of the Parliamentary Elections Act.
Mr Lee Hsien Loong: Polling agents and counting agents for the parliamentary elections are not subject to any other eligibility criteria other than the disqualifications stated in section 83 of the Parliamentary Elections Act.
