POLYCLINICS IN SINGAPORE: **

Er Lee Bee Wah asked the Minister for Health how many polyclinics there are in Singapore and of these, how many provide dental services.

Mr Khaw Boon Wan: There are 18 polyclinics in Singapore.

Dental services are provided in nine of these polyclinics staffed by 36 dental officers.

In addition, dental services are also available in all the public hospitals and the majority of Government schools. A total of 75 dental officers are currently deployed for this purpose.
