Mr Speaker: Minister Desmond Lee, do you have a clarification to make?
12.31 pm
The Minister for Education (Mr Desmond Lee): Thank you, Speaker.
In my earlier answer to Ms Eileen Chong when she raised a supplementary question on AI in schools, I mentioned in my response that AI tools on SLS are used only in the classroom and not at home. That is the case for the younger ones in primary school. But for secondary schools, some SLS assignments can involve the direct use of AI by students.
The rest of my answer still holds. Thank you.
Mr Speaker: Order. End of Question Time. The Clerk will proceed to read the Orders of the Day.
[Pursuant to Standing Order No 22(3), provided that Members had not asked for questions standing in their names to be postponed to a later Sitting day or withdrawn, written answers to questions not reached by the end of Question Time are reproduced in the Appendix.]
