Mr Christopher de Souza asked the Coordinating Minister for Social Policies and Minister for Health whether the Ministry will consider introducing greater flexibility or case-by-case exceptions under the Cancer Drug List (CDL) for patients with rare cancers who require clinically effective but non-CDL drugs, particularly where treatment costs remain exceptionally high despite insurance coverage.

Mr Ong Ye Kung: The Ministry of Health will provide a combined reply to this Parliamentary Question (PQ), together with other PQs, which have been filed on this topic, at the next available opportunity.
