PERMISSION TO MEMBERS TO BE ABSENT

Mr Speaker: I have to inform the Assembly that, in terms of Section 47 (3) (i) of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, I granted permission to be absent from meetings of the Assembly to the following Members:

Mr Ong Piah Teng - for one month from 17th August.

Mr G. A. P. Sutherland - for two months from 26th August.

Inche Ahmad Bin Ibrahim - for three weeks from 28th August.
