SUPPLEMENTARY PROVISION (Sessional Paper No. Cmd. 10 of 1958)

The Financial Secretary (Mr T. M. Hart): Sir, I have His Excellency the Governor's authority to move,

That this Assembly resolves that the sum of $3,954,450 shall be supplied to the Government under the heads of expenditure and for the services specified in the Schedule contained in Sessional Paper No. Cmd. 10 of 1958.

This, Sir, is the annual schedule of revotes under the Development Estimates. The need for a supplement in each case is explained in page 3 and subsequent pages of the message. Each case is an adjustment of the sum provided in 1958 in the light of expenditure in 1957. In no case has there been any change in the nature of cost of the project, nor will any supplement result in the estimated cost approved by the Assembly being exceeded.
