The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (2) (g) of section 42 of the Singapore (Constitution) Order in Council, 1958, obtained from the Speaker, permission to be or to remain absent from sittings of the Assembly:

Dr Toh Chin Chye (Rochore), Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the House - from 28th February to 5th March, 1960.

Miss Fung Yin Ching (Stamford) - for three weeks from 2nd March, 1960.
