Mrs Seow Peck Leng asked the Minister for National Development in how many kampongs were roads built by kampong dwellers with materials supplied by Government from 1st June, 1959, to the latest convenient date.

Dr Toh Chin Chye: There are two kampongs where assistance is being given by the Government and the people living in those kampongs have volunteered to build the roads themselves. They are Kampong Kubor and Kampong Farrer. Work is still in progress in both kampongs.
