The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (2) (g) of section 42 of the Singapore (Constitution) Order in Council, 1958, obtained from the Speaker, permission to be or to remain absent from sittings of the Assembly:

Mr S. V. Lingam (Aljunied) - from 8th February to 11th March, 1962.

Mr John Mammen (Telok Blangah), Deputy Speaker - from 16th February to 10th April, 1962.

Dr Goh Keng Swee (Kreta Ayer), Minister for Finance - from 1st to 9th March, 1962.
