The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (2) (d) of section 30 of the Singapore (State Constitution) Order in Council, 1963, obtained from the Speaker, (Sir George Oehlers) permission to be or to remain absent from sittings of the Assembly:

Mr Bernard E. Rodrigues (Telok Blangah) - from 17th October to 7th November, 1963.

Mr S. Rajaratnam (Kampong Glam), Minister for Culture - from 17th October to 17th December, 1963.
