COMMENCEMENT OF WORK ON RECOMMENDED PROJECTS IN KAMPONG KEMBANGAN

Inche Mohd. Ariff Bin Suradi asked the Minister for Law and National Development when will work commence for the improvement of roads and drains and the installation of stand-pipes and street-lights in the Kampong Kembangan Constituency which had been recommended by the Citizens Consultative Committee to the Members of the Urban and Rural Services Committee during their visit to the Constituency in July 1965.

Mr Ho Cheng Choon (for the Minister for Law and National Development): Mr Speaker, Sir, proposals for the improvement of roads and drains and the installation of stand-pipes and street-lights in the Kampong Kembangan Constituency, recommended by the Citizens Consultative Committee to the members of the Urban and Rural Services Committee during their visit to the Constituency on 9th June, 1965 (not July 1965) have, by and large, been implemented.

Details of the projects will be circulated with the Official Report.

Mr Ho Cheng Choon: Mr Speaker, I have just mentioned that the details of the projects will be circulated with the Official Report - that means our Parliament's Official Report. I do not know when.
